Nice day for a sail!

Great day for sailing...steady winds from the NW 10-13 kts. The dredging has begun at the entrance to Mission Bay Channel...what a huge machine!

Linda's Photos

Here are some of Linda's photos revealing the beauty of the Island's West End.

In several of the photos you will find it hard to distinguish between the sea and the sky as the horizon blends from one to the other leaving no trace of itself.

Catalina Island Cruise July 2010

We have completed our Catalina Island cruise. Our course brought us up the coast from Mission Bay to the first over night at Oceanside. The second night we stopped at Dana Point. On the third day we made the crossing to Avalon and there was no mooring available so we headed to an anchorage...100 + feet of water wasn't going to work so we head further west and got a mooring at Hen Rock...very nice. The following day we made Two Harbors and had a wonderful mooring for three nights. Headed to Avalon and got a mooring for one night before we headed directly back to Mission Bay. It was a great trip!
