Sailing Demo with GoPro Hero 960
A short demonstration video showing the advantage of a wide field of view video format aboard a sail boat. The GoPro 960 camera was used to film aboard S/V Principessa, a Catalina 36, off of San Diego, Ca on 12 July 2012. It was a gray day but the interior and exterior video shows the advantage of the wide field of view.

Mission Bay to Shelter Island and Back July 2011
We sailed S/V Principessa to Shelter Island. Visiting Mission Beach, Balboa Park and having fun on the bay...this was a trip to explore the local area. The Fourth of July celebration was wonderful...proud to be an American! Another Linda and David Adventure aboard S/V Principessa.

Strange Fish
We like to spend News Year Eve on-board Principessa...sometimes we will go sailing but other times we explore. This year we found ourselves at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute in LaJolla...and saw some remarkable sea creatures...here they are!

Nice day for a sail!
Great day for sailing...steady winds from the NW 10-13 kts. The dredging has begun at the entrance to Mission Bay Channel...what a huge machine!

Linda's Photos
Here are some of Linda's photos revealing the beauty of the Island's West End.
In several of the photos you will find it hard to distinguish between the sea and the sky as the horizon blends from one to the other leaving no trace of itself.
